Hello, and thank you for supporting Magpie Pedals and getting yourself one of my effect pedals! Please feel free to use it with guitar, bass, synths, vocals or anything in between.
The pedal uses 9VDC power (2.1mm jack: center-negative).
Controls:
The Bit Pirate has four different signals running in parallel: Your main signal, one octave up, one octave down, and two octaves down. Each knob is a volume knob for blending these signals together:
- The top-left “0” knob controls your main signal. A distorted main signal!
- The top-right “1” knob controls your OCTAVE UP volume..
- The bottom-left “-1” knob controls your ONE OCTAVE DOWN volume.
- The bottom-right “-2” knob controls your TWO OCTAVES DOWN volume.
The octave down and two octaves down signals are both created with a 4040. So they are monophonic and analog. Making it very glitchy when playing more than one note at a time. FUN!
